This is the news which is nearly in every newspaper. the “But” is because we lost the match by 3 runs playing against Australia. Why is it we always undermine great achievements if some things do not go the way we want.
Crossing 17,000 runs is a milestone even for Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar he has done this feat by working hard and he really blasted off yesterday with a magnificent 175. He has accomplished this from 10,000 runs in 2001 to 17,000 in 2009 Now he is left to compete with himself only, he can further better his own record, others will be in line to break Sachin’s record.
So instead of applauding this record wholeheartedly we have to go and put a sting in the end.Even Sachin is feeling bad that we lost this match but than he was not the only one playing it was a team effort,we played our best but Australians were better.
Why can’t we be wholehearted in appreciating a great player, they could have given two news one about only Sachin and other about the match.I think that would have been totally justified.
I thoroughly enjoyed seeing Sachin’s marvelous batting yesterday... he is a real rockstar of cricket.
i don’t care if India lost the match because they deserved to lose it. The initial players hardly scored anything.
We can’t expect him to win the match single-handedly, its a team effort after all. And if that is the case, Indian team will have to collectively retire when Sachin declares his retirement ;)
Great job Sachin. Congrats! You simply Rock Man...
Yesterday was sleepless night for me, feeling very very sad
Indians need to learn these skills from oz if they want to be no 1.
